"Season it, salt it—solve it."

Anomaly Story

In certain parts of the world, there are people who seek out a "Garlicbeak" to resolve their arguments, disagreements, and conflicts. The process of summoning a Garlicbeak is as follows: each person acquires one feather from a Garlicbeak, and recites the phrase, "Season it, salt it—solve it". Once the Garlicbeak manifests, the initial conflict between the two parties is forgotten entirely.

At a glance, the Garlicbeak looks like a common bird. However, upon closer inspection, it's revealed that the Garlicbeak's 'feathers' are instead individual garlic slices. Garlicbeaks are primarily drawn towards loud noises. As a result, verbal arguments, screaming, and yelling attract their attention. Garlicbeak feathers are, in fact, edible and taste like garlic. Garlicbeak feathers are known to have a soothing effect when ingested and are commonly used as a relaxant for those suffering from anxiety, conflict, or unease.

However, the calming effect of Garlicbeak feathers is limited to superficial struggles. They cannot be used to solve severe emotional distress. Overindulgence in Garlicbeak feathers can cause a pungent garlic smell to be emitted from the consumer's body. Garlicbeaks can regrow their feathers, unless they experience heavy feather loss in a short amount of time, in which they undergo nullification.

Characteristics

  • A Bio Anomaly resembling the common bird with garlic slices for feathers.
  • Feathers can be ingested and utilized as a relaxant.

Anomaly Nexus

Undergoes nullification when experiencing extreme feather loss in a short amount of time.

Risk Assessment

Harmless.

Containment Status

A certain number of Garlicbeak are contained at the Celaeno Compound and the Anomaly sanctuary "Sunward Island"; eligible individuals may act as Guarantors.

Containment Procedures

No special containment procedures required.

Experiment Record

"Study on the Regeneration Rate of Bio Anomaly, Garlicbeak, and Its Feathers"

……

Conclusion: The regeneration speed of a Garlicbeak's feathers shows an exponential positive correlation with the number of feathers lost. When one feather is lost, studies approximate 12 hours for full feather regeneration. After losing 100 feathers, the Garlicbeak displays clear signs of fatigue, but will recover fully in roughly 7 days.

Note: All Garlicbeak feathers collected in this experiment have been destroyed in accordance with Bio Anomaly waste-disposal standards. The cafeteria's proposal to use Garlicbeak feathers to develop new menu items has been rejected.
