Fog Coffin Colossus

The Fog Coffin Colossus is the physical embodiment of the Fogden's rules. It is not an independently existing being, but the manifestation of the rules within the Fogden. It stands towering and motionless within the Fogden, present from the start of the game to the end.

The colossus begins to announce the rules when the remaining participants reach the arena. Like the mask the participants encountered before, the announcement is not read in a human language, but sent to their minds.

Once the announcement is complete, the colossus begins overseeing the game, watching the participants slaughter one another, eliminating anyone who attempts to sabotage the game, until the last one standing wins. When the game ends, the colossus forms a contract with the winner.

During this incident, Madam T took part in the game as the contract bearer. Before the descent of Code Zero, the colossus showed signs of protecting Madam T, presumably tied to the terms of the previous contract. Once Code Zero appeared, the colossus designated it as the highest-priority and attacked, no longer carrying out its original oversight function, and ceased protecting Madam T. The colossus was ultimately destroyed by Code Zero, vanishing together with the Fogden.

[Characteristics]

Form: The colossus consists of tangled, thorny branches, humanoid in shape, adorned with a mask and a skirt of hanging-branches.

Location: Once the game begins, the colossus remains in the Fogden.

Function: Announces rules to participants in every phase. In the arena, the colossus oversees the game and enforces the rules.
